ABSTRACT
The research work aimed at finding the effect of oil spillage in the Niger Delta, the causes of oil spillage and it effect on the economy. Various models were examined concerning the effects of oil spillage in the Niger Delta; the study made use of primary data gotten from the distribution of research questionnaires among a total population of 25 respondents. The percentages of their responses were considered for the purpose of the research work; from the responses gathered, we were able to conclude that oil pipe line Vandalization is the major cause of oil spillage in the area of Niger Delta.
